I have ADT alarm system and I am currently planning to switch it. I pay over $120/month for their services and I want the public to be aware of their false advertising and they should be sued for lying to the customers.
I found this out when I was overseas for an official trip. I got a call from ADT saying that my alarm is on and would I like to contact the police.
I thought it’s really stupid because this is what people are paying for. I wanted them to contact police as soon as possible, but I was surprised to find that the police will not respond unless I am present there.
I was really disappointed and frustrated about this .So I called the police directly and complained to them and they responded saying that they don’t have an agreement with ADT and they are not indebted to do so. They told me that ADT made false representations about their services. I am just waiting for the contract to end and go for a security system that actually delivers what they promise… my advice — be careful when choosing your alarm system!
