Very shoddy install, parts applied to wall with double sided tape and velcro. No wonder its free..I still feel like I overpaid!

My husband and I are so disappointed with adt home security and are only staying with them until or contract ends. Their service dept and technicians need massive training. We have to cut our losses and just suck it up for one more year. Stay away from adt!!! Do your research!!!

BEWARE ADT SECURITY SERVICES

Been with ADT 7 years. Paid $8500 for entire instal at my home. I pay them a bit over $250.00 every quarter. I have an insurance plan for all the hardware etc. Yesterday evening the system started to crumble, RIF fried out, not touch pads show other hardware is burning out as well. Spoke to ADT unable to send out service until 4/19. Meanwhile no security at my home. (Their have been 3 attempted break ins in the last 3 years.) They are arrogant and rude and couldn't care less. BEWARE OF ADT SERVICE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU ON A WEAK LIMB! On Monday 4/9 I will call in a local company who specializes in Honeywell to pull out and restore my service. My monitoring will go the new company as well. ADT will lose about $1100.00 a year on me for their poor service. These companies do not want to pay employees on weekends. Its all about making a buck and paying the CEO's millions of dollars to destroy customer service and pare down the business!!

Just bought out the remainder of my Alarmforce contract. The alarm worked fine, the billing was easy but wow did they give me a hard time about getting out of the remaining 10 months of my contact. I read the reviews and decided to have someone from their company uninstall the hardware because I hear they screw you if you do it yourself. Im getting my revenge though. People are always buying new homes where I work and they all get alarm systems. I wont recommend them.

DO NOT USE RELIANCE PROTECTRON!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!! Service is non existant…Equipment is junk and customer relations does not exsist. The Protectron smoke detector was always going off and the only way to silence it was to disconnect it for half an hour because the cancel code never worked. Many calls were made to the company to fix the problem but no one came. We moved out of province and advised that we would be cancelling only to get a bill after our closing date for $900.00 which was for `breach of contract: Email was sent to them asking for information as to what it was about especially when I did not sign a contract! No response from company so assumed taken care of. WRONG!!!! They sent collection agency after me!!!!! AVOID……AVOID……AVOID……CAN`T SAY IT MORE CLEARLY!!!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!! DO NOT USE RELIANCE PROTECTRON!!!!!!

Big Ripoff

At our church we had this company. We asked them to turn off the alarm during some construction. They agreed but never stop collecting $. They have been giving us the runaround with refunds. Then since they were so nasty, we said please cancel. Well they won't accept a cancellation from our current pastor since their records show a different name. That pastor hasn't been here for over 12 years. Getting a big rigamarole and the need to make countless phone callls to get this changed. Unacceptable customer service bordering on criminality.
Was unable to rate at less than one star but would like to give them ZERO stars.

Great company

Had a break in to my Business. ADT quickly responded after the alarms went off. They called me told me that there was alot of motion and a door alarm activated. I asked them to call the police which they did and the cops arrived before i did (2 mins after the call) cant say enough about ADT!

Our place of business has been Protectron's customers for OVER 20 YEARS. Their alarm system failed to go off resulting in the theft of a lot of our merchandise (Around $20k). After this happened, they said that we would have to pay for them to come and look at the alarm system that failed to work. Alarmforce sent a tech out for free the next day. Go with a company that knows what they're doing.

Protectron Needs to Improve Customer Service

This is the worst customer service you get. If you want to know how then call them and ask about the credit that you have to get back. I had to go on long hours of call with them to get back my money. I have talked to at least 10 different people claiming to be one above the other. And none is responsible for the task!

ADT

ADT pulse is been a nightmare for me for sometime. Changing over to
ADT from another company, the Pulse System is connected to my home phone and previous alarm. I just had my the system erase all my bookmarks on my DVDR and my home phone would not work. I called ADT after leaving the house. Pulse Techs have blamed everything under the sun and the last called they said it was their issue. We see.
